One of my favorite things to do a chilly day is grab a cup of coffee and walk along the coast. My favorite spot to enjoy the ocean view is La Jolla Cove where you can venture into the the Cave shop that goes down to the La Jolla Cave or have a picnic on the grass and watch the seals. Days like these call for cozy sweaters that will keep cold and wind out. I’ve been loving anything with a mock neck recently and fell in love with this mock neck Madewell sweater! It’s more of a sweatshirt material which keeps you warm and is a gorgeous shade of cream.

I’m not usually one to buy clothes with something written across the front, but I made an exception for this one! When I was younger my family would go to a cabin or lodge in Lake Arrowhead, CA for Thanksgiving and bring our cousins along with us too. Some of my best memories growing up are from those trips to Lake Arrowhead sitting by the fire, eating yummy apple pie and building snowmen outside. So when I saw this sweater that read Arrowhead Lodge across the front I just had to get it!
