All winter I’ve been looking for a cozy, casual sweater that’s long enough to wear with leggings yet not too baggy. Finding a top that I can wear with “leggings as pants” has been a struggle for me since I can remember. For active wear, I can get away with a short shirt but personally I like to have a top thats long enough to cover my behind when wearing a less casual outfit with leggings. My main issue is that long tops have to be somewhat fitted on me. Anything super flowy makes me look like a tent if it goes over my hips, so finding a fitted top that is long enough to wear with leggings, yet isn’t a dress, is quite a bit harder that you’d think. I searched dozens of stores over the last few months for a sweater that’d be perfect with leggings, but I came up with nothing, that is until I decided to venture into the men’s section at Urban Outfitters. I spotted this beautiful tan/brown Calvin Klein sweater, tried it on and loved it! It’s just fitted enough, long enough for me to wear with leggings and is incredibly cozy. Sometimes you just have to go to the men’s section to find what you’re looking for.

I’m currently loving tan and black together, especially with tall boots. I kind of feel like I’m channeling a 90’s equestrian style Ralph Lauren ad, with lots of rich browns, tall riding boots and tousled hair. I accessorized this outfit with some classic YSL black sunnies and my go-to free people bag.
