Today is the first day of October and the beginning of a month filled with some of my favorite festivities. To start off October right, I had to visit my first pumpkin patch of the season and bring home some pumpkins for myself. My favorite pumpkins are the small white ones sometimes called ghost pumpkins or Casperita. I like decorating with a variety of pumpkins. A large orange pumpkin with a few ghost pumpkins and maybe some of the more unique looking squash make for a beautiful fall display for any home.
