There’s nothing cozier than sipping a cup of hot cocoa in front of a crackling fire while listening to classic Christmas tunes. I’m a huge lover of hot cocoa, it is by far my favorite holiday beverage, so I thought it would be perfectly fitting to create a little hot cocoa bar for the holiday season! What I love about having a dedicated bar for hot cocoa is that it makes it much simpler for everyone to make themselves a cup and dress it up however they please, whether it be with lots of marshmallows like me, or with a cinnamon stick and some whipped cream. It’s great for holiday gatherings of any size and is sure to be a hit because who doesn’t like hot cocoa!
To create your hot cocoa bar you can really use any surface you like whether it be a bar cart, side table or kitchen island. Next you want to set up a few mugs on the table. I used a crate so I could create space for a few more mugs on top. Then you want to get a few jars and containers to fill with your cocoa mix and toppings. I like to create a little tray full of some of the taller containers like the cocoa and candy canes. Lastly add in your favorite christmas decor. I created this diy mason jar snow globe last year (you can read my diy post on it here) and added it to my wooden tray. I also love adding a festive garland like the adorable mini stocking garland I came across recently and just had to have (you can find it here). I finished off the cocoa bar with a tall snowy faux tree (adding height makes for a great overall composition) and added in a few small snowy trees and pinecones.
