Dress: Free People // Sandals: Nordstrom (similar)
Summer comes early in San Diego and with that so does Summer fashion. It’s beginning to warm up so I’ve been on the search for pieces I can wear that are nice and airy, keeping me cool from the heat, while still looking cute.

I can have quite a hard time finding a summer dress. I need something that is comfortable, not going to make me burn to death in the hot summer days, fits me just right and fits my personal style. Basically, finding a good summer dress often takes a whole lot of time and endless searching for me. So when I do come across something that meets these requirements, you know I’ll be wearing it all summer long.
A few weeks ago I came across this adorable Free People dress at Nordstrom and just fell in love with it. It is super comfortable and light weight, perfect for hot days. It also fit me very well and came in the cutest pattern! I’ve been obsessed with this beige/cream striped print for a while, especially on linen fabric, but until now I had only seen it on tops or maxi dresses. I also love finding a summer dress that has a a short to mid length sleeve (which can be quite difficult to find in the summer months), and the sleeve on this dress was the perfect length and has the cutest flouncy bell at the bottom of the sleeve. This linen piece fit all my requirements for that perfect summer dress. Let’s just say you’re sure to see me wearing it a lot! I wore this dress out to dinner last night to one of my favorite restaurants, Indigo Grill in Little Italy, San Diego. It was the perfect outfit for a warm night out with friends! I chose to pair this dress with my favorite pair of gladiators and some loose beachy waves. I’ve linked the dress below along with some other Summer Linen Dresses I’m loving.
