With our wedding just 10 days away I figured it was finally time to get this post up about what is on our registry and how we decided what to add to it! Alex and I have lived together for a few years so we have a lot of the basics but when I say basics I mean very basic. Since we’ve gotten engaged we knew we were going to add certain things to our registry so we held off on buying those items. Of course our wedding got postponed so many times that we ended up going without a matching dish set for longer than we expected. Whether you already live together and just need to upgrade your home items or are just starting your life together and need everything new, these are some of my favorite items to put on a registry. We registered at Crate & Barrel, CB2, Target and Anthropologie.
KITCHEN:
NESPRESSO: If we didn’t already own a Nespresso, it would easily be the first item I’d add to my registry. We use it daily and it makes the best coffee and is such a breeze to use, no cleaning required after every use and so many good flavors!
COOKWARE SET: We really looked at what kind of cookware would be best to add to our registry, what materials would last us years, what pot and pan sizes do we use most etc and we landed on this all clad set that includes our “most used” pot & pan sizes. All clad really is the way to go if you cook a lot and want your set to last you years. We found this set was a great option for the price.
APPLIANCES: A few appliances we wanted to be sure we added to our registry were an air fryer and food processor, if you’re going to add any small appliances I would suggest these two as you’ll get the most use out of them.
DISHWARE: I absolutely loved this dishware set from Crate & Barrel and actually received it as an early wedding present so we’ve been able to enjoy it for a few months! We opted to add them individually to our registry since we wanted to have 6-8 of each but I will link the full dinnerwear set below
SERVEWEAR: This is a category we really needed items in the most as we were lacking in serving trays, bowls, utensils etc. These are some of my favorite serving items to add to your registry.
- Primrose Gold Platter
- Serving Utensils
- Teak Wood Bowl
- White Resin Salad Servers
- Slate Cheese Board
- Wood Cheese Knives
Champagne Gold Flatwear– This set of 20 is a perfect soft gold tone and super refined
Chun Blonde 2 Piece Knife Set– Alex is in love with this knife set, they are gorgeous and super high quality
BAKEWEAR: Adding in some essentials like a good cookie sheet set is key but dont be afraid to add some dream items too like a Le Creseut Dutch Oven. These are some of my must add bakewear registry items.
PREP: Don’t forget to add things like mixing bowls, cooking utensils and even citrus juicers/zesters!
GLASSWARE:
BATH & HOME
Ribbed Bath Towels– These towels are lux and ribbed
VASES: This is a category a lot of couples forget, having nice vases on your registry is a great idea
Marin Vanilla Linen Table Cloth– This is a great basic tablecloth to use for any gathering or event
Parachute Linen Duvet Cover & Sheets– If I didn’t already have this lux duvet cover I would be sure to add it to my registry along with the sheet set
